When the Artist was very young he went looking for Albert Namatjira ( the famous Aboriginal Painter ), who was visiting Darwin on a painting trip. The two spent the day together and their conversation would change the young boys life and open his eyes to the world and his future.

TERRA AUSTRALIS is a Series about the Explorers of Australia. The final breakthrough of the Blue Mountains which had cut Sydney from the interior of Australia was the achievement of Blaxland, Wentworth and Lawson in 1813. Their efforts discovered thousands of Acres of lush grazing land to the west and paved the way for a route inland.

Glen Helen Gorge is in the McDonell Ranges in the Northern Territory and about 80 Km's west of Alice Springs.The gorge has been formed by the Finke River. The Artist first went there when it was a Cattle Station but it is now a Tourist resort and is visited by thousands of people every year.
